The FlameGuard series USB-A to USB-C cable is designed to deliver maximum reliability, durability and safety in demanding charging environments. Its outer sheath incorporates materials with certified fire-retardant properties that withstand high temperatures without degrading or conducting heat, thereby drastically reducing the risk of thermal incidents during prolonged charging sessions at home, in the car or in the office.
With a rated current of up to 2.1 A, it delivers a balanced and constant electrical current from wall adaptors, computer ports or power banks, thereby protecting the lifespan of the device’s battery cell. Its internal tinned copper core, with low electrical resistivity, ensures continuous conductivity and allows photos, music and backups to be synchronised at speeds of up to 480 Mbps. Furthermore, its extended length of 1.2 metres improves freedom of movement whilst charging and is combined with reinforced connectors designed to withstand continuous bending and accidental tugging.
